One of the most popular knives in Homeland War was SRK (Survival Rescue Knife) designed by Lynn Thompson and made by Cold Steel company. The blade was made of Carbon V steel and the knife was made in the USA. Later other types of steel were used for making SRK blade as AUS 8a, VG-1 San Mai III, CPM 3V and SK-5.
